Andrew Law is the CEO of Caxton Associates, the macro hedge fund originally founded by Bruce Kovner. Law succeeded Kovner as the firm's chief investment officer in 2011 and has managed the fund since.
Law joined Caxton in 2003 and was appointed chairman and CEO when Kovner stepped back from day-to-day management. He previously traded at Goldman Sachs. Under Law's leadership, Caxton continues to employ a global macro strategy, managing approximately $8 billion in assets.
The fund focuses on macro and relative value opportunities across currencies, interest rates, and equity indices. Law maintains the disciplined risk management approach established by Kovner during the fund's earlier decades.
